For our first mix of 2016 we welcome Fuj to the DNB Dojo Mix Series! With some cracking releases under his belt for AutomAte Deep and Scientia and a fresh remix just about to drop for Cirrus’s Terra Null imprint, Fuj’s deep, dark style has been turning heads for some time, and we’re big fans here at Dojo HQ.

For his DNB Dojo mix he’s compiled a selection that is threatening and thoughtful in equal measure, featuring deep cuts from the likes of Module Eight, Loxy & Overlook alongside techier business from the likes of Amoss and Fre4knc, and of course a few of his own beats for good measure. E-Motion Records is back!

It’s always a shame when a label goes missing in action, and doubly so when it’s as promising an imprint as E-Motion. Their back catalogue has played host to a wide variety of top notch D&B from up and coming producers within the scene, so we were thrilled to hear of their planned return in 2016 here at Dojo HQ.

E-Motion will kick off the year with a series of Throwback Session releases which will take a look back at some of their most successful/popular releases. Spread over four volumes, with six tracks apiece, these EPs should provide a great opportunity for anyone new to the label to get up to speed with what E-Motion is all about before the label kicks back into gear with new releases from February or so.

For our last mix of 2015 Boundless Beatz resident and label runner Dubbalot joins the DNB Dojo Mix Series with an 82 minute selection of top notch rollers. Thing is a busy man. Between dropping tracks for the likes of Doc Scott’s 31 Records and Blu Mar Ten Music the Estonian producer releases a phenomenal quantity of music via his own Dubthing and Depthwise labels.

Thing has been kind enough to take time out of the studio to record our latest exclusive mix, and it’s quite a sonic journey. The latest in Fabric’s long running Fabriclive mix series comes from none other than techstep pioneers Ed Rush & Optical. As you’d expect the mix is full of meaty basslines, massive double drops and neurofunk energy, with a few classics sprinkled amongst the mostly up to the minute D&B. There are also some exclusives including a couple of tracks from the long awaited follow up to 2009’s Travel The Galaxy…let’s hope this means we’ll hear the album sometime soon!
