Straight Up Breakbeat have been digging in the vaults for today’s premiere, as they present tracks from the Resound archives! Originally produced back in 2009 Stone Cold, is a vintage D&B roller custom built for dark rooms…weighty bass, rolling breaks and a moody aesthetic, need we say more? Look for this on vinyl and digital from Sep 25th, alongside a new remix and the frequently requested Loxy & Resound classic New Age. Plus if you want more unreleased Resound goodies be sure to check this mix!

Premiere: Hathor & Sotus – Lurker
Hathor is the latest to land on Lossless Music’s Exkursions sub label and we’ve got the premiere of EP title track Lurker for you today. Premiere: Rinino – Loverdose
The mysterious Rinino lands on The Dreamers for a sick new EP of raved up beats and we’ve got the exclusive on Loverdose! Bringing together heavy hitting halftime claps, skittering fills and a wonky lead hook, this is frenetic and intoxicating! Check out the release for three more wavy bangers, coming Sep 2nd at all the usual stores…
Premiere: Severity – Hyperghetto
Severity is back on Unchained with his second release for the label, and we’ve got the premiere today of lead track Hyperghetto! Blending footwork sensibilities into the D&B template, this one is a rapid-fire head-nodder with a hip-hop edge; maximum swagger. Release coming Aug 30th at all the best digital emporiums…
Premiere: Allied – HMDRM
Allied returns to Methlab with the second single from his forthcoming Kailash LP and we’ve got the exclusive on techno infused rumbler HMDRM. Characterised by heavy kicks, intricate hats and throbbing low end, think Berlin at 5am morphed into 170BPM. This one is out now at all good digital outlets.
Premiere: Alexvnder – Holding You
Today’s premiere comes from what may well be the last Alexvnder release, as the producer prepares to retire the moniker and move on to other projects. He’s prepared a more than appropriate swansong though, with a full length LP of liquid delights for Glitch Audio, and we’re extremely pleased to have the exclusive on LP opener Holding You! Channelling the influence of acts like Seba and Blu Mar Ten into a beautiful roller led by piano and jungle-tinged breaks, this one is sultry, sublime and smooth as butter. Look for the release coming August 30th at all the usual stores…
Premiere: Talkre – Colours
Talkre delivers a rather exceptional EP for Dispatch early next month, and we’re hyped to have an exclusive for you today! Definitely the EP’s softest track, but still displaying the majestic synth work which characterises the release as a whole, Colours is a sublime, sensual roller with a laid-back vibe; sci-fi liquid a-la classics like Chris SU’s Solaris. Look for the EP coming Sep 9th, be sure to buy direct to get Colours too as it’s a Dispatch Store exclusive.
Premiere: Teknian & ZeroZero – Square Rhythm 2016
ZeroZero team up with regular collaborator Teknian for today’s premiere, delivering a stomping slice of neurofunk badness…epic sound design on the intro gives way to a helter-skelter assault of breakbeats and warped bass. Dangerous vibe! Hit up their Bandcamp to grab this one on a “pay what you want” basis right now.
Premiere – Monika – Taho
Monika lands on None60 with more of deep, rolling, hypnotic style…one of our favourite producers continuing to deliver the goods! Hit up their Bandcamp to grab this from tomorrow.
Premiere: Jaise – Swamped
Following an exceptional debut release earlier this year, Jaise is back on Subplate Recordings with another dark roller channelling the late 90s techstep sound. The influence of acts like Ed Rush & Optical on the sound is undeniable, but don’t dismiss this as mere copycatting; this is a love letter to a forgotten sound, brought bang up to date for 2019. Look out for the release coming Aug 30th at all the usual outlets.
