Premiere: Sedo & St.Iff – Shorty

Sedo teams up with St.Iff for our latest premiere as the pair drop a dirty tech rumbler for Tesseract Recordings. Heavy hitting breaks, grimey bass and an infectious hip-hop hook make for a stripped back roller with more than enough weight to move a dancefloor. Sick! Look for the EP coming Oct 26th at Bandcamp with all other stores following Nov 9th.

Premiere: No_Name – Behind Enemy Lines

Delta9 continue their run of DLT9 sublabel releases with a pair of deep, dark numbers from Berlin’s No_Name, and we’re hyped to have the exclusive on Behind Enemy Lines. Combining a driving halftime backbone with a plethora of creepy pads, robotic FX, bass growls and percussion fills, this one lives up to it’s name by conjuring a sense of stealth and an utterly threatening vibe. Philth & Wreckless – Heimlich EP [Dispatch]

Philth and Wreckless are two artists we’ve been following for a long time now here at Dojo HQ. From promising early releases for the likes of AutomAte and Flexout Audio, it’s great to see the duo stepping up to release on Dispatch, and the result is some of their finest material to date, either solo or collaboratively.

The EP covers their style of dark, techy D&B through and through, with deeper but still chunky cuts like Heimlich Savage and On My Mind sitting alongside heavier outings Entropy and Surge Wave, the latter being an absolute weapon that takes influence from the classic Renegade Hardware sound of the mid 2000s. If you want four slabs of rolling tech funk then it doesn’t get much better than this! Check out the clips below and head to the Dispatch Store to grab the EP right now…

Premiere: Nerv – 3 Left Feet

If spooky pads and detailed percussion are up your alley then you’re in for a treat on today’s premiere! Taken from Nerv’s forthcoming EP for Tesseract, 3 Left Feet conjures an unusual atmosphere and fills it with some of the best drum programming we’ve heard from an up and coming producer. Watch out for this on the 3 Left Feet EP which drops at all digital outlets 11th Oct.
