Ronin Ordinance release possibly their most varied compilation to date in the form of Genso Vol. 2 later this month, and we’re very please to have the exclusive on Dominic Ridgway’s ethereal new track Stand In, Stand Out. Skittering halftime beat patterns and a beautiful collection of soft melodies make this one a hypnotic, spaced out ride on the deep side of 170. Check it out, and look for the album coming December 13th.

Premiere: Tellus – Shimmering Valley
Tellus is in our premiere spotlight today with a cut taken from his forthcoming Landscapes EP for Locked Concept. Shimmering Valley is rich in texture and atmosphere, with reverb-laden percussion and cinematic synth-work taking centre stage; definitely one for the armchair rather than the dancefloor. Watch out for the EP coming December 14th…

Quirky sampling, shuffling breaks and twinkling melodic touches give definition to a tune that defies genre pigeon-holing. Premiere: Sam Young – Alluvial
Deep sonic textures on today’s premiere as Dutch producer Sam Young returns to his own Fussy Music imprint with the epic Alluvial. DNB Dojo Mix Series 97: Akuratyde
Our latest guest mix comes from LA-based producer Akuratyde! With three exceptional releases under his belt for Blu Mar Ten Music and some excellent remixes for the likes of Soulvent and Locked Concept, he’s one of the most exciting producers in the deep and melodic end of 170, as evidenced by a mix that takes in the likes of Bop, Margari’s Kid and Djrum alongside plenty of his own productions. Chilled vibes for your weekend!
As always you can check out the mix via Soundcloud below or head to Youtube or iTunes to stream. You can also grab a download from Google Drive.
Premiere: Joshua – Unrefined
DNBB continue their run of soulful liquid releases with a top EP by British producer Joshua, and we’re exceptionally pleased to bring you a premiere of the title track! Powered along by soft piano and guitar over a warm underbelly of bass and breaks, this is emotive D&B at it’s smooth and silkiest. Look out for the EP coming to digital stores Nov 22nd…
Premiere: Linear – Droplets
Linear lands on Detached Audio with a new EP this month and we’ve got the exclusive today on deep liquid roller Droplets! The EP drops Nov 8th at all good digital stores.
