Q&A: HØST

As part of the crop of talented young producers pushing a superbly wonky take on the D&B sound, HØST has been impressing us for some time with his releases for the likes of Vandal LTD and Sweetbox. With a new release dropping on Terabyte this month, we grabbed the man for a quick chat about production gear, collabs and run in with the police. Check it out…

DNB Dojo Mix Series 55: D’TCH

We’re exceptionally pleased to welcome Sweetbox / Diffrent Music signing and all-round talented bass-slinger D’TCH to the Dojo decks for our latest exclusive mix! No tracklist on this one but expect to hear the man’s own unusual productions alongside plenty of future jungle, wonky halftime and even a handful of good old fashioned 2-step rollers. Serious selections!

As always you can check out the mix via Soundcloud below or head to Youtube or iTunes to stream. You can also grab a download from Google Drive.

DNB Dojo Mix Series 54: Frame

Our latest mix comes from a fresh signing to Neve’s The Dreamers Recordings, Italian producer Frame! Showcasing the forward thinking sound of his new EP for The Dreamers alongside other label cuts and beats from the likes of Frederic Robinson, Sinistarr, Fixate, Spectrasoul and Commix, Frame has delivered a fine blend of future jungle, classic rollers and bassy bangers. Sick selection!

As always you can check out the mix via Soundcloud below or head to Youtube or iTunes to stream. You can also grab a download from Google Drive.

Premiere: Oliver Yorke – Wanderer

We’ve been a big fan of Oliver Yorke’s releases over the last few years so we’re exceptionally pleased to be able to present an exclusive from his latest release for Silent Dust’s None60 imprint! Wanderer brings Yorke’s knack for eclectic sound design and detailed composition back to the table in an evolving take on gritty halftime. Heavy hitting beats and bass on the stark intro contrast with soft, spacey melodies which come to the fore as the tune progresses, and the result is a characteristically enveloping tune. One to lose yourself in…look for this very soon via the None60 Bandcamp store.
