Premiere: D Flect – After Rain
Today’s premiere comes from Dojo favourite D Flect and UK/NL label Silent Audio. Taken from the Occlusion LP, After Rain sees D Flect going in deep on a crisp and melancholy roller led by soft strings and light-touch piano. Vibes! Another fresh premiere for you today from new imprint Sable Noir Recordings! Joakuim brings his deep, rolling D&B stylings to the label next month on the Des Fleurs LP, and we’ve got the scoop on L’automne. Premiere: Samurai Breaks – Malicious Intent
We’re proud to present another exclusive premiere from our pals at Ground Mass and man of the moment Samurai Breaks! Taken from his forthcoming Silverback EP, Malicious Intent mixes up deep sub and halftime riddims with junglist break chopping and an inspired metallic snare melody. Experimental, but with an eye on the dancefloor! Look for this at all good digital stores from Dec 20th.
Premiere: HLZ – Nightcrawler
Turin’s finest are closing out their year in style with a fantastic new EP from HLZ, and we’re extremely excited to have the exclusive on Nightcrawler! Bringing together bright but understated melodic hits, a classic rolling break and warm bass with just enough edge, this one shows HLZ on vintage form. Watch out for this dropping alongside 3 other new beats on the From The Past EP from Dec 19th; pre-orders are up now on the label’s Bandcamp.
Premiere: Johnathan Thomas – Rupture (Mark Kloud Remix)
Our latest premiere comes courtesy of Ground Mass boss Mark Kloud, who turns in a sick 160 refix of Johnathan Thomas’ new track Rupture. Out soon on Good Street Records, Mark flips around the dark halftime of the original into something with a little extra swagger on the bass and a little extra roll in the percussion. Yes yes! Best of all it’s available for free from Friday – watch the Good Street Bandcamp for the full EP dropping Dec 5th including remixes from Breaka and Walters.

Premiere: Mauoq – Mannoy (Kozmo Remix)
Italian producer Mauoq has fast become one of our favourite underground artists over the last few years so we’re incredibly pleased to have the exclusive on one of the new cuts from his very own Mauoq Music imprint!
Mannoy gets the remix treatment from US head Kozmo, taking the original smoother and flipping it round into a bleeped out, wonky slice of halftime D&B with skittering drums and tons of character. Sick! Hit up the Mauoq Music Bandcamp to pre-order now; MQM007 drops Nov 16th on bandcamp with full release following Nov 30th.
Premiere: Quentin Hiatus – The First Time Was The Last
The prolific and unpredictable Mr Hiatus returns with another EP on his own Free Love Digi imprint next month and we’ve got the exclusive on closing track The First Time Was The Last. Quirky melodic flourishes blend with garage style beats for a typically experimental take on the 170BPM sound from one of America’s most talented underground musicians. Check it!
Premiere: Current Value – Capsule (Dean Rodell Remix)
Current Value brings his distinctive style of hard edged neurofunk to Othercide Records with some help from friends in the scene and we’ve got the exclusive on the slamming Dean Rodell remix of Capsule! Modern D&B production blends with classic early 2000s Techno-D&B with hypnotic synths, rolling riddims and serious bassline action. Sick!
